Which sites do you use? Why?

artstation only, because its the only site where the ratio of artists to casual people is bigger. so the people who actually follow and like your work are decent artists.

I wish instagram was better for art

All of the main ones, because you want access to as many markets as possible (yes think of audience as markets) and because all social media accounts include links to buy commissions from me.

Even though this is music related the advice here still applies to art

Instagram, twitter, tumblr, facebook, pixiv, reddit.
It's a slow progress but these are bringing true "followers" from time to time.

No longer using artstation, deviantart. They don't bring any significant traffic and interest like those mentioned above. ArtStation is good for a portfolio site tho.

what's a good site to post all my unfinished shit and sketches? like every day

>> No.3463189

>>3463080
You can probably stack them in pixiv.

I don't wanna be one more westerner asshole shitting up the website

>> No.3463200

>>3463191
I can agree. Artstation also has that stacking option and you can dump them in deviantart as scraps but im not sure if your followers would get notifications for that.

Artstation seems like a pro place for a portfolio, I'm not sure I'd want lazy, unfocused stuff on it
fuck deviantart, it's worthless now
I'm guessing tumblr, maybe I'll make a new one only for sketches

>> No.3463212

all of them

Tumblr is the best in my experience.
Not using Pixiv is a dumb move though.

As long as you aren't one of those deviantart downies dumping their shitty MSpaint inflation fetish comics, I'm sure the japs won't mind.

this
as long as it's not inflation you'll be alright, probably

>> No.3468037

are there any good alternatives to youtube and twitch for livestreaming? I want to interact with people while I draw, but I fucking hate both of those sites

picarto?

this
artstation is a great place to view professional work and shiet.

I actually use DeviantArt because there are like a dozen artists on there I really like, and I'm way too lazy to switch platforms.
