Okay, you're doing pretty good but there are a few things that you could improve a little.

-Right shoulder is too stiff. It could be more relaxed.
-You basically ignored her left ribs. They need to exist too.
- Ass fangs.
- Vagina's outer lips are thinner than that.
- Gap between legs is possible and encouraged, but not this wide.
- I'm not a master on drawing hands (I suck desu) but you could draw fingers that are more soft and proportional to one another.
- Collar bone should be higher up.

I'm not saying it should be anatomically correct or anything, these are just a few tweaks to make it look better. I drew over your drawing to show my points, hope you don't mind.

Guess I might as well pop my /ic/ cherry. Had a stab at doing a power-armoured soldier girl of some kind, armour design inspired by a mix of Halo and Bubblegum Crisis amongst other sources. Any tips regarding the lineart?

Also, any advice on achieving "oldschool" anime style colouring (with hard shading and the like)? I dunno if there's any "shortcuts" or if I just have to git gud and knuckle down. I'm using Photoshop CS5 on a Cintiq FWIW.

Consider brushing up the basics, being able to draw figures as base to build upon is good for power armors. Regardless as to joint will work and interception problems, the armor should at least envelope the volume of the figure.

"old school" could mean a lot of things, although since you mention bubblegum crisis, I am guessing you mean late 80s and early 90s ova style. Its just basic cel-shading, except they do two step more than some of the modern style. They have different emphasis on where they denote the forms. Do some study of specific screen grab of the style you like might help.

the anatomy is good but a lot of other stuff is really off. The linework is really inconsistent, in some spots its really bad(hair, breast) but some spots it looks fine. The face is totally out of place.

The planes on the shading are a good but the color is awful. Its all shaded with black, as you said the airbrush leaves no hard edges and there is no variety in the local color. Skin has all kinds of different colors present in it. Shade with a slightly darker red and purple colors on a mulltiply layer and lower the opacity till it looks good, you can use the airbrush but you need to use the lasso tool and selections to keep a hard edge. If you want to study shading skin you can try copying houtengeki they have a ton of simple pose pin-ups with detailed rendering that would be easy to copy similar to your image.

Her forearms become spikes. The glove string hanging from a single point it's hanging off a single tooth, with how much the head is turned the ears are extremely mispositioned a la mickey mouse, midriff section is very short-draw the full figure before cropping.

Even if your body actually looks like that, it's kinda hard to read what's going on with this pose, so maybe try to move things slightly.

Be honest, it's not your ears and nose, so the reference was here to help create something that doesn't exist but yet appealing.

And if you think it's hard to move the body, that means you should do it because that's how you learn.

You're in the middle ground where it's not bad enough for easy critique but not good enough for someone to take enough interest to take the time and give an indepth critique.
