No, drawing isn't a good hobby.
It takes a lot of time to get decent and before that happens it hurts to look at your own artwork.
If you aren't obsessed with an idea of drawing, then I would suggest finding a different hobby - maybe lifting? Girls dig fit guys. And it's healthy.
If you're sure that you want to make pretty pictures, then consider photography - it's a comfy hobby and nowadays even a cheap second-hand DSLR can make really decent photos.

Yeah, it's a lot more fulfilling than animu and vidya (drawing has replaced both of those for me). It does take a lot of time and effort to get decently good, but you'll have the rest of your life to reap the rewards, whereas in vidya there are new games out every year and in the end you don't get much to show for all the hours you put in.

No it's not, unless you started at a young age or have a hidden talent you're going to be drawing like shit for a long, long time. You have to do a lot of studying and devote all of your free time just to make a small progress in gitting gud.
Learn something more practical like, programming, it's just as fun and you'll actually have a chance of making money down the road.

I really enjoy drawing anon, it's good if you have the drive to create something. If you just want to do something to feel like you aren't wasting your time, then youll Sri be wasting your time. Honestly if you enjoy video games and anime just watch that man, I don't see the need to do something "more" just because society tells you what you enjoy doing isn't worthwhile.

Do what you want and don't regret it.

If you are still in your early-mid teens I would say yes, while it is a cheap and enjoyable hobby it takes years to get good. People who are good artists were usually talented as kids and thus had enough of a boost to their self study. Or they had intensive study, usually under tutelage. You find a lot of good artists have been drawing since they were little kids. If you are in your late teens or later chances are you'll just get frustrated at how long it takes to get good. There aren't any short cuts to the time commitment short of really intensive training and most people don't have the will to commit multiple hours a day to practice.

You might like coloring though, its much easier to get fast at that and adult coloring books and lineart are easy to find.

Instead of asking, you should just try it out. No harm In doing something new.

And theres nothing wrong with indulging in games and tv every once in a while. But you gotta do things in moderation. If I decided to try and marathon OnePiece in a year, I would nevrr want to see another shonen anime ever again.

Learn how to cook, go runnIng every day, do some writing. Fail at lots of things but keep trying because thats what lifes all about! Dont be afraid of a little pain, instead look at your failures and say "good, now what can I do to get better?" Life is full of hardship and failure but the worse thing you can do is to give up before even trying. Most people do that, not try, its easy.

Agreeing with this one. If you keep it fun and do things because you enjoy them then it can be like the best MMO ever. Plus the level cap is infinite and you can get real world rewards.

Some of my favorite artists are hobbyists too, who work in an office or lab for their real job and just do art for fun. I think hobbyists might even have an advantage with their mindset to people who take it too seriously and pile too much pressure on themselves.
