Yeah, it's bad. But you have good taste in art, so keep going.

Write about how fucking terrible you feel for not drawing daily and hang it where you can see it, so you can go back and read how much of a piece of garbage you felt at that moment when you feel lazy.
Is it autistic? Maybe. Does it work? Absolutely.
Keep going, you can do this.

You have to stop worrying about how the art comes out so much, accept it's going to suck and move on. Tell yourself upfront your not going to post it online and it's just for you.

IC's problem is you all spend vastly more time thinking about, looking at and watching people talk about art than y'all do making it. You have all this insider info on how the "pro's" do it but don't have any of the prerequisite knowledge to execute art on the same level so you think your work is shit. By the time you get around to drawing or painting something you have all these prejudices and preconceived notions acting as barriers for what it's supposed to look like, without having the skill to execute on that vision. People who advance are often those who spend more time making than watching, they don't get as hung up because they're content working it out on their own and have a strong idea (in some part) what they want to make.

Stop over thinking it, nothing you make will be a masterpiece. (at least not anytime soon)

that means there's still work to do, you should be excited that you're beyond delusion and in the zone.

I have this same problem when I'm drawing. Draw something bad, think "this is shit", and then give up on it.

I've been trying to be more mindful of those thoughts. Like when I get that impulse to quit I think to myself "oh I was thinking that this piece is bad. Is there something I can fix? Draw for a few more minutes and see what you can do about it."

I also try to change "I suck at doing this" to "I should practice this."

Daily reminder that drawing skill can only come from practice.
People like flaws.
If they see improvement that's more valuable.
Remove all negativity.
Don't care what others think.
