Aguri guide was written by me as a Kindle book 5 years ago. If you don't believe me you can search goodreads and find a paper trail. Many people believe that it was made by a concept artist in Asia when that is false. Today my guide has over twenty thousand hits and has more than likely tricked hundreds of beginners, especially on ic.

That's probably a very small percentage.

Most are frustrated amateurs who want to externalize their failures. Some have a high valuation of their own skills and opinions but are still too insecure to post their own work, and feel the need to justify their elevated self worth by winning rhetorical arguments which they play off as baiting when they get backed into a corner.

Then there are those who become obsessed with certain posters because they have a recognizable style, so a history can be attached. They'll try to get attention from these known posters however possible, by incessantly sucking up or trolling.

This isn't an /ic/ problem. Every board is buried in low quality posts because these kinds of people have immense time. They've got nothing else going for them except guarding their precious personal playground. Stay with the sticky and get some grounding in the fundamentals before trying to wade into the garbage that is the rest of the board.

It actually is, but way too many are just socially awkward, shy and based lurkers.

Along with /cgl, /c, /a , /u and /y it also features a pretty large number of females, although compared to the other board, female _artists_ especially shy away from any kind of interaction. The best you can get are some based lgbt sjw tumblrinas that argue about men.
