Post your Studios, work areas, drawing tables. etc

I used to have an entire garage to use as a studio, then I sold half my shit and moved to another city where I'm stuck in an apartment for a year, now I just have a corner where everything is crammed, feels bad.

i've bought my dx racer like 4 years ago, it's worth it but for the price and how many brands they are now, you are better off buying office chairs on clearance/craigslist.

something like a herman miller/steelcase leap, they are expensive but the herman millers can be bought for cheap if you hunt one down from those businesses that sell them. ( I believe $400?)

it's well worth the cost since those chairs will last for pretty much forever and the dxracer i have now still works besides the seat showing wear n tear, ur back will thank you plus

You need more light. I can't even imagine trying to seriously approach values in that low light. You want your work area - and all of it, not just the paper, to be as close to daylight as possible. Two $20 swing arms with much longer reach than your bedside light, with daylight LEDs would be a good start.
I don't really take lighting into consideration with those doing digital, but the lack of progress on values here in this forum is easily explained when you guys show your workspaces. You need light, and lots of it, to do art. Two light sources, 45 degrees from the work surface on each side is a minimum - and it's not expensive to do. Hell, I got two daylight LED bulbs on sale the other day for $6, and I have a couple swing arm lights in the closet for my easel, and two on my drafting table.
