How do you use Proko stuff? Do you buy it? Did you buy it? Is it worth buying the 3 Course Bundle pack (Portraits, Anatomy, and Figure Drawing) for the ~$400, or could someone get by on just the anatomy of arms, torso, and legs packs for the $89 each?

If anybody bought that $1500 behemoth, was it worth it?

If you don't pay for Proko stuff, how do you find it? Do you simply use the free, not as detailed YouTube videos he posts? Is there a way to access the premium stuff without paying for it? (I have no problem paying for it, I just only have enough money to get one, maybe two $89 courses and I want to know if I should just save up for the 3-course pack)

Proko is 100% worth it. He deserves to be criticized for not developing his imagination all this time etc. but he is a good figure draughtsman and his content is great overall. Particularly his 3D models are helpful. I wish he had videos where he didn't interrupt his teaching with some of the dumbest jokes I've ever heard every three minutes but that's okay. It's still some of the best shit out there. I actually signed up for a trial of NMA just last night and I was mortified to find that they still only had one short video on the pelvis (which includes the leg muscles) in which Vilppu is going from subject to subject at a very brisque pace. The only 3D models the have are full figures and a few master busts like the David's eye that are available on Sketchfab for free. NMA is good too don't get me wrong but Proko is overall the best deal out there right now.

It's $2,500 and I have considered it/am still considering it. It's a small price to pay (other than 0 of course) but at the same time there's quite a bit of disappointing things with NMA. The 3D content is totally mediocre and sometimes what other stuff there is seems sloppily edited.

For example, Vilppu's lecture I mentioned, which is like, the ONLY VIDEO or series of videos in which one of the three fucking major masses of the goddamn body are being explained specifically on the entire site (at least with regards to drawing it and not sculpting it), is literally cut off without warning while he's explaining some shit. Even considering that though what's explained up to that point is extremely limited and focuses on the legs probably 80% or more.

Regardless of its faults though, when you compare some of these resources to an art school it's really a no brainer, even assuming NMA is frozen in time where it is now it'd be well worth the money.

I bought Proko's torso premium course. Worth every penny. Though I don't think the arms or legs course needs premium, his regular videos are fine for that.
