I'm not sure how helpful would such studies be, given that my face is the opposite of what I'm trying to draw. Besides, it's quite hard to depict myself from the angle that I wanted to use, because the actual camera is levitating some meters above and 4 meters down, and the target is supposed to be looking away. To me it's like they're painted on her face, and have no depth to them. It looks like they're mere millimeters away from the eyes. Other than that, it's fantastic. I like your shading. You can copy at the start, so you get a feel of what drawing is like, but you still have to use construction lines and sketch before doing the final product, it's still practice after all, just not 100% your original stuff (also don't post that anywhere in your blog) Start with learning construction and stuff, look at your inspirations and take elements from their stuff and combine it (tracing is good for this, but I still recomend doing the construction lines on top of the drawing you're tracing, the do a "sketch" then do the lineart yourself, at least that's what I'm doing) I'm not good yet so take this with a grain of salt, but it's a start

You have conflicting perspectives with the upper chest/head and the rest of the body. Legs could also be longer and the feet should be following the perspective of the legs as well (pointing lower to the ground). You can work something around the hips to make the whole perspective issue much less apparent by making the hips look like they jut out or something. I'm kinda rambling at this point tho.

A wide range of reasons. But mainly because of focus. The thing that embarrasses me the most about that image is I kept admitting to not drawing as much as I wanted to. Often I find myself less motivated to work on my art and the longer I spend not drawing the more I have to get used to it again when I'm motivated again.
