A LOT of people are getting obese. Fast food companies spend billions on marketing and it's not just rich countries, it's happening in poor countries too. In poor countries American products/restaurants are seen as "cool" so they don't have the same shitty reputation they usually do in rich countries

Well, you need to understand the kind of person who actually pursues an art degree. Not all of them, but a lot of them are the kind of person whose parent supports them throughout college. That means a lot of them don't even work. They sit at home and eat mom and dad's good food while in college. People who pursue other degrees can't really afford to eat that way or don't have the time because they're employed while also a student, which I would argue is why they chose a more lucrative degree in the first place: they're poor and their parents don't support them, so they want to get into a lucrative career. Art students can generally waste as much time and money as they want because they know their parents will take care of them no matter what.

This is also kind of why you see more art students with dyed hair and tacky tattoos, while something like a business major or someone in STEM looks more professional or at least normal. It's because the art students can afford to be more childish and no one has told them they need to grow up, while the other majors can't afford to be childish anymore; they're forced to grow up.

I'm sorry if this offends people on here. I'm not talking about every art student, just broadly this is what I've seen.
