They're similar, no doubt, but at some point you have to realize that enough porn pieces trying to accomplish the exact same thing are going to end up at least somewhat similar if you create enough of them

Its a couple of things for me, specifically the cheeks, chin and nose, because they are almost exactly the same in every drawing. The proportions (chubby cheeks, small high chin, button nose) all imply a younger face, but they are so extreme that they wouldnt make any sense to see in real life, or even just a 3d model, which sucks because the rendering is good enough that it just makes that more apparent. couple that with eyes that just don't match the style or level of rendering, and the faces just take a nosedive into the uncanny valley. Interestingly enough, BBC draws very similar faces, but I think he has a better grasp of the proportions and his style covers any bits that dont make sense

long time ago i made an effort to try my hand at commissions over at /a/. as you may know they provide all the references you may need and ask you to "make this character do this" with pose and all provided. I would combine the reference with the head of a character and draw on time. The result is EXACTLY what they asked for, but most didn't care for the end result, citing how uninspired it was. They wanted to see it drawn in a unique style, something i would enjoy and have fun drawing, instead of something clean and methodical.
referencing is ok, tracing is not. even plebs know that.
