Maybe try doodling a little bit everyday, not sure if I understand what you mean by "spark" but effortless drawing comes from being familiar with the shapes and techniques.Truth is nobody is suddenly born with amazing skills but some just get it faster and more easily

Well, it usually starts with a lifetime of trauma beginning in childhood that leads to intrusive thoughts and full blown visions that you either draw to get them out of your head (it doesn't work) or draw cute things to distract yourself from the intense, chronic pain of your existence (it doesn't work). That is how you develop the "spark".

If you don't have fun, why are you even doing this? I have lots of fun drawing even though I'm not really good. I just draw what I want, how I want, at my own pace.

not that guy but i go real autistic. like when i paint say a dragon, i make dragon roars, villagers screaming, explosions stuff like that. that also helps with me being loose
