It's just the default brush with pressure and opacity sensitivity, and have the eraser brush work as a airbrush so the lines i erase don't go away completely so I can user them as base for the next touch up.

Thanks man it means a lot. Literally every major Blizzard artist (Samwise, Wei Wang, Chris Metzen, etc) has had an impact on my art style since I've been playing their games for close to 20 years now, specifically Warcraft. Here's the Horde version. And yeah, Warhammer has also been a big influence in recent years for me.

Eh, I really don't mind or care for it. A thread is a thread.

My stuff is traditional only because I never learned how to use photoshop. I even bought a drawing tablet, but I hardly use it because internet drawing hurts my brain.

Anyone know how to get over this, or where I can go to learn the basics?

Actually, something about the background perspective (vs foreground) looks off to me.

And the stones and tiles look too perfect. They should look more worn/natural.

Also are those stones in the bottom of the fountain? Because they interfere with the water surface patterns too much. They also face forward too much.

Otherwise, pretty good job with coloring. It's more effort than I put into backgrounds, anyway.

First off composition and color seems the strong points of the pic. You do need to study hair rendering though looks like you tried the same method for hair that you did for the water. Try just using cell shading as you did with her skin. Also if you have the color and line art on seperate layers as you should, try moving the line work to on top or above the layers with color. The lines look colored over. Great work on the water though, I think that's my favorite.

All of it, pretty much. I hate the tedium of vector programs (and using a mouse instead of actually drawing) so I only ever use them if I NEED to make a vector image, or if it needs to be super precise (like, with ratios and shit). Basically only logos and title fonts.

Those hands in the background of the first image are raster. I copied them for consistency, but no vectors were used.

drew this for my uncle for Christmas. Very happy with it for my skill level, too poor for a proper gift.

Critique wise - I think I use colour too shallowly. Always picking from what's already on the canvas. Washed out. Not confident with lines.

I want to learn how to paint faces and face shapes correctly with fewer brush strokes.
