I like the rendering, the structure of the female face, the inky graphite blur quality, the depth, the forms of the clouds, the colour and tone range, the shine of the hair and darkness of the lips, I like the handdrawn quality and pleasing composition, but I fucking hate the faux deep Highschool art project Pinterest tier subject matter, and the hands and fingers are kinda shit

I'm not sure how you guys are getting "faux deep subject matter" from this guys art. To me it just seems like surreal imagery for aesthetic reasons, I don't think he intended for any sort of message to be taken from it.

miles is just the type of artist where if he doesn't sell the piece the next day it'll never sell. there's two types of artists, artists like sargent who impress with every new piece but have to continually produce because it becomes less and less impressive, and artists whose art is worth nothing when it's made but continues to gain value as time passes, like van gogh.
