The video helped me a lot to get back on track because I honestly disliked drawing at that point but I didnt know why. Hes great talker imo.

it seems like you have a very good sense of shape, the arms and legs actual shape is pretty close and def passes in cartoon. your depth and perspective is off. looking at it, her right leg (left when looking at it) is too big in scale. that leg and her arm attached to it shouldn't be stretched out so far. you're going to see a dip in her elbow once you get it right. her other leg, the one whose knee is closest to the viewer, has a good shape once again but it's the calf under her thigh that needs to dip back. her foot would dip back as well. practice perspective drawing and then start practicing drawing figures by using references.

Thickness doesnt matter its just proportion and perspective. A fat girl will look good if you draw her right. I mean its just too long compared to her calves and arms. Lankiness can he projected easily if thats what you've been aiming for then again its just the anatomy. Your calf and thigh is about the same length give or take your feet. Well, take your feet. So as long as she is also symmetrical and both thighs are of equal size to each other her body is proportionate to that then you're good. So i guess just touch up on proportions AND perspective and also i dont know what you mean by critiquing your own stomach because that seems to be the strongest point of quality in the picture.

When it comes to references, how do you make the breasts larger than the breasts of the reference you are using?

it's the same with every other type of exaggeration. You need to understand how they would be affected by gravity and how they are attached to the body, then apply it.
Just think of caricatures, if a person has big cheek bones you push that. And a good caricature will understand what bones of the skull they actually are- and how they can be pushed. It's the same with T and A.

Ah my bad anon! You are totally right. Instead of just explaining what I meant in my previous post, I should have completely rendered the arm, maybe even give it some tattoos! While I'm at it, I should have also given it a background, boy it would have looked great with some crazy water colours.

Realistic dicks: Average size, looks really cylindrical and is mostly straight, boring ordinary head. see also the dick you drew.
Sexy porn dicks: Bigger size of course though thickness is more important than length, is curved slightly upwards ( more like the top left of the dick that you drew ) to show stiffness or flops down due to size ( depends ofc ),thicker towards the base but maybe thicker in the middle plart, has veins (more or less), more intriguing head shape not weird but doesn't look like and acorn.
Also you can see the urethra way bigger at the underside of the dick. ( see pic related; though it doesnt need to be as big as this ofc I personally dont like this long af dick style but to each their own )

In conclusion, noone wants to see an average or even smaller than that penis fuck an average looking woman. People wanna see perfect dicks fucking perfect woman. Though what is perfect depends heavily on the person.

Love it, don't know why you aren't getting any (you)s, but you should change the mouth of Peridot. The tongue doesn't really look like its coming from her mouth. Maybe just removing the teeth and making the tongue smaller would help too but maybe its a bigger issue. Here's one that I consider to be descent for studying, since the lighting highlights different planes and the form is very clear

I'm sorry im not trying to insult you I just want you to know the truth but YOU really belong in the beginner thread, you don't know how to render at all, your lines are wonky, you have no idea about anatomy other than the simplest stuff ( meaning boobs legs, arms, head, navel and pussy; though you tried to show the collar bone) , you tried showing some form on the thighs and boobs I give you that, but look at the mess on her thighs, you can see every stroke. I'm not even ggonna talk about the hands which are completely symbol drawing. Her arms look like stumps from the little we can see. What did you even do with her nipples?
The face is the part where you did best because her lower part could be about anything, at least you went into more detail with her head. But your nose looks really bad you should study those, the lips aren't ggood either but better than the nose, the eyes are probably the best part which still isn't good. The hair ends are wrong that's not how render those but the rest of the hair looks actually quite ggood from afar. And to top it all off its not a sexy pose, it's completely stiff and her body type isn't even an attractive one. But that is probably because you don't know much about fore shortening or perspective.

tldr: If you just wanna draw for fun then: Learn some basic anatomy. Look up some tutorials on how to render and if you have to color pick your colors for the body.
You try to draw "realistically" and show the bumps on her nipples but yet you only place small dots.That does not work. Also everythingg about the lower body is bad, if not fort the upper body it could be everything. And go to the beginner thread!

No, the issue when someone sucks is telling people things are symbols is not helpful at all. Symbol drawing only happens when you don't know shit at all. this person knows some shit they just suck, so calling it symbol is implying they are missing something entirely rather then are generally unskilled.

the hair ends, while being wrong in how they are rendered, also look substantially better than what you typically get from people who don't know what they are doing, so credit where credit is due... still learn the right way to do it.

The stiffness in the pose, I can easily see, but that's largely because the pose itself is a bit stiff, It looks like she is sitting on a couch ordering a younger guy to go down on her with a displeased look on her face because he is going about it slow.
Personally I would say go with a different pose, and look up people art who share what they practice and look through the catalogue, try to determine what looks stiff and what doesn't by sight and see if you can emulate it.

my suggestion is do not render, just draw and map shadows, don't add shadows, shits bitch work and you have more important aspects to practice other than rendering.

Spend more time practicing making lines. Looks like you are slow and hesitant when making them. Should be a quick and fluid stroke, and you can only do this after hundreds of hours of doing lines. For things like the boob though usually you don't need to do the entire thing in one stroke though....get half of it....then on a new layer try to get the other half and if its close enough but not 100%...then just use the transform tool on the line to fix it.

In all honesty I am still chicken scratching a bit, I just clean it up with the eraser. I think it's just due to neglecting my tablet for a while and my lack of confidence in certain anatomy.

take the following with a grain of sand. (you'd probably be better served asking that question in the q&a thread.)

tangents can cause issues in a couple ways: it messes with the sense of depth, and it makes forms harder to read at a glance.

having the line for the whip graze against the line of her leg makes it less clear how those two forms relate to each other in terms of depth -- if you make the whip overlap her leg more it would become clearer that the whip pushes out in front of the leg. it would also enhance the perception of the whip coming towards the viewer, giving depth to the composition.

for an example of tangents making forms harder to read, look at the way you drew her hair in relation to her breast. the outline of her breast is largely lost.

However, I am going to help you out a little bit. Since you aren't going to be able to properly draw any character if you don't know the basics of drawing them. Draw simple "C" "S", or "I" curves to convey the movement or actions of a character ( a.k.a. gesture drawing), after which you should start adding basic shapes (mostly ellipses) for distinct masses of volume and joints; do this VERY LIGHTLY... You might start out drawing cartoonish characters with low detail, but that's okay.. Before you can draw a detailed human character, you have to know how "construction" works, how to draw along gestures and using shapes that are both easy to draw and visualize. After this (and I'm not at this point yet), you can start learning anatomy (muscle groups, veins, bones, etc).

I know you can get tempted to "feel the volume" and you find yourself looking for the perfect line. After circling and scratching crudely around the region you imagine the structure would be, you finally put down that line. You feel like it's not good enough, so you thicken the line in a certain direction, continuously overlapping the previous in a crude form, in the hopes that it will balance things out.

First time drawing this kinda pose and perspective. I'm really still stuck on her left arm and chest. I feel like she should be leaning back more or that her chest should be different; Same with her arm.

head is too small and the torso is too long, specifically the bit below the ribcage. the pose implies that he's lying down on a flat plane, while he's supposed to be propped up by a wall. also, the forearm is a little bit longer. I cut and pasted things around a bit, mostly increasing the size of the head and bringing the chin down so it looks like hes pressed up against the wall, and bringing in the legs and rotating them to shorten the torso and make it look like hes resting one thigh on the crate. I tried fixing the forearm but Im not sure if mine looks any better

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but a lot of it comes intuitively, like soft or attractive features should be shaded softly and be rounded, and hard features should be the opposite, even if they aren't soft or hard in a literal sense. Im no expert but I think its kind of like applying character design concepts to your rendering. Other then that, I tend to just jump around between styles if I get bored of one in the middle of the picture, but I try use the change in style to mark a new feature or material to make it pop out more.

i gotta say, those diagrams were an eye-opener for me. i'd never considered how the tendons and hamstrings/adductors create a divot of sorts which seems instrumental in making the labia appear as a distinct form. that combined with the idea of a funnel design makes for an approach that is more akin to carving out forms instead of building them on top of the underlying construction, which is what i've been doing. no wonder i'm getting the vacuum pumped effect.

Posted the Mei head last thread. Been working on this for a while. I still have trouble with proportions, so it's hard for me to tell if a head or body is too big/small. I kinda feel like Pharahs head is too small or her body is too large. I have some more details on the bodies to finish before i get to the background, and i'll have to do quite a bit of post work adjusting the values and saturations. I don't really wanna change anything major at this point, but i can adjust the scale of some things. Any help is appreciated.
