Instead of keeping it to yourself, get a therapist. Not a school counselor, an actual therapist. If it's really bad, they'll give you meds to balance out your "feel bad" chemicals. You have to get/stay active. Eat healthier food. Join a club in or out of school to meet people. Flirt with girls and ask them out in clubs/bars just to get up your confidence, you'll get rejected more often then not, but you gain something from them. I recommend listening to Bill Burr and Patrice O'Neal. Don't catch feels for a roastie, that means don't expect anything from them other than sex. Use protection always.

Also, losing your hair fucking sucks, but you'll feel better about it over time. I'm not going to say you won't ever not want your hair back, but eventually you realize there's way more to live for than your hair alone, and that people really, truly, do not give a shit if you're balding/bald. I started losing my hair at 17 and it was devastating at first, so I'm not talking out my ass. It helps to find an outlet as well, like cosplaying or something, where you can wear wigs and dress up and shit.
