I only have a hard copy of that and to be honest it doesn't go into detail softwarewise. It gives generalized info on lighting situations. I don't have a way to scan it either. I do have some 3d art magazines and some books about blender and zbrush but they are a few years old so the info might be tougher to use because the software has changed so much. I already got the mtg zendikar book on my cart, it has some breathaking landscapes paintings and beautifully rendered ethereal creatures from the game.

Also the angelarium tarot deck because even though it is not an art book and I'm not planning to use them for divination I love the beautiful surrealistic interpretation of angels that peter mohrbaches has made.

Barrington Barber's 'Fundamentals of Drawing Portraits' is good for proportions. Absolute shit for construction though - basically it just goes through what goes where, the part that's actually relevant to what you want is in the first ~30 pages.

Hogarth's 'drawing the human head' is much more techincal and in depth, but imo more boring and difficult to understand than loomis.

Honestly Loomis or Hogarth's the best. If you're having trouble digesting it, proko make a much easier to understand series of videos about it, starting from 'how to draw the head at any angle' or something, I'd suggest those.
