What kind of client goes and buys this kind of art? I mean I enjoy your drawings they're pretty nice, but going online to request a random drawing of Tharja and pay for it? I mean... there's like 700 free pictures of her on gelbooru, why do they feel the need to pay for one more to exist? or they just shit money and want to support you?

I sort of understand when it's a very specific fetish and people pay for porn, but nsfw of a character that's already popular I don't get it. I'm asking so I can understand in the future how to get customers like that if I ever get decent enough to charge.

I've seen people that ask for their OC to be redrawn at a higher quality, but like just go to some dude and tell them, "hey, I want a chibi mario drawing in your style, how much for that? $20? sure draw it doing some jump or whatever".

These are my suggestions for you. Normally when I do chibis I'd think about what I want to change in proportion, may it be the how fat or skinny certain parts are. But the head almost always towers over the trunk and its related parts and should never be too fat/wide of a female. It's different for a male chibi.

The action here is really confusing. From what I understand, the spider girl hit the boy's head from the right side, but he's leaning over to the right, and his sticks are falling to the left. If he was hit from the top from the right side, it would be much more natural him to start falling to the left. Also, unless he purposely threw his sticks to the left they would naturally fall either straight down or to the right away from him, if he was moving to the right before he was hit.

Additionally, this color palette looks very warm for what I assume to be a winter scene, are you just using dodge/burn for shading?

Widen your value range. It looks pretty flat right now. Also the connection between the arm and hand looks off pretty off. It looks broken the way it's bent. The sandwich looks weirdly more rendered than the guy himself. Also the nose positioning is off since he is looking slightly left and the nose is centered. Your whole character is pretty stiff and there are a lot of misalign in the face area, its also entering the uncanny valley a bit by playing some really cartony forms against some of them being rendered/drawn too realistic

how long will you widen it depends on how strong the ambient light is in your drawing, if it was a strong ambient you would play it on less values changes on planes due to the reflected light, in your case i think going up on the occlusions are should do it.

It's about the relationship with the viewer ya sperg. If the girl is looking directly at you it's a confrontation, even if it's a drawing, that's psychological. Try freehand drawing floor grids and placing your characters on the floor using that as a guide. It's a trick used in animation and comic books to fake perspective, try looking for Krenz tutorials on the subject. Get good enough at drawing gridded boxes/cubes freehand (drawing bathroom interiors with lots of tiles is good practice for this) and you basically don't have to worry too much about perspective anymore.
