First of all we never said realism is the only valid form of art, what I did say was this board puts emphasis on critique not your oc muh style bullshit, the reason why you feel that I implied that realism is the only thing validated on /ic/ is because we can relate realism to real life, which comes to no surprise as the whole fucking point of it is to mimic nature as closely as possible and then we can decipher flaws left behind by the artist from referring to what has already been established.

There is a decent amount of improvement for how much he cares about drawing (which is very little). You are too stuck up your own dunning-krueger ass to figure out that ZUN gives little shit about drawing. His portraits are there to give an idea of what the characters look like and are.
They may not show technical skill that you want the portraits to be, but has a lot more charm than any of your piece of shit works could ever have, hence why these characters (and his works, whether you like them or not) are wellknown.

No one will remember who you are in 20 years, and the ones that recall any little bit about you is that you are just another shitposter with likely shitty art as often other people, with just-as or even more shitty art, bug other artists to feign superiority, or art that no one will remember regardless of the technical skill.
