Ah dear anon, everything that surrounds me makes me depressed, i live in a shit hole, vidya is depressing when you think about how you gain nothing but killing precious time and social stuff isn't always available but art, oh art, the feeling you get from drawing beautiful/attractive stuff always gives me a reason to look forward, so i can keep drawing, although i am not by any chance what you would call a great or remotely good artist, i enjoy it, all i need is my laptop to search for material and draw since the shit hole i live in doesn't really let me go out for recreational stuff like drawing outside without the risk of getting ribbed or killed

Advices
So hi guys,
I've fot into digital art recently(as you can see on the pic) and I dont have any hardware for drawing and since drawing with mouse is horrible I have to buy some sword of hardware (I've been looking around for a week now and trying to decide what to buy...
I could buy a Galaxy tab A with S pen today or a Yoga 510 in December)

it is worth mentioning that because smartphones/regular tablets (such as an ipad) do not have pressure sensitivity they are almost certainly awful choices for drawing digitally

buy an actual drawing tablet, it doesn't have to be name brand but it should at least work decently well. Read reviews.

I do sketches on my bed, largely because I've got two tv's that I can watch either satellite or use my console on
I've also been assembling a workstation using a drawing table I've had for a couple of years but haven't used in a while. so far i'm most of the way there

I've got a large x-acto mat on it that I can use my x-acto knives on that also gives me a grid that I can use, I've got some ink for fountain pens, I've got some dip-pen ink, and I've got plenty of other sketch-tools that I keep in a roll-up storage bag for when I'm not using them or taking them on the go

planning on getting a few other things. a couple of drafting lights, one being a long LED light and the other alternating between daylight bulbs and regular LED lightbulbs, mostly using the daylight ones when I want to color my art. I might also get some kind of harness to put a camera in so I can do livestreams with traditional art instead of digital
