Judging by the 3 minutes I spent on her page I'm leaning toward her being no exactly good. Her artstyle isn't anime tho, just a blend of styles popular on DA and pixiv. Her stuff mostly involve some """emotional""" message that's just more of the same. But nowadays I tend to think that pandering is not a sin for artists but if you can work yourself away from it by providing variety, you should do it,
in the end, just another run-of-the-mill witty illustraion artist, nothing much.

this reminds me of that weird ember guy, who shot up the grocery store where he worked. like to me, this kind of 'bad teenage poetry' kind of art has always indicated shallow affectation, 'oh look at me, i'm so sad, i'm so deep,' that sort of thing. and that ember guy was a prime example, but he did end up being for real suicidal and did really kill people, so it just goes to show that although people may express themselves in what seems like a glib formulaic way, they may well be trying to express authentic unhappiness.

I think it's nice that she dares to put her feelings and emotions into her art, even if it is in an obnoxiously obvious way. A lot of people (here and otherwise) just draw titties every day or draw something abstract and then without anyone even asking tell how they're sad and it's an illustration of their feelings, that's pretty attention seeking too I think.

Subjectively I really don't like her art, her lack of skill shows through and she does need to apply some subtlety. But just because you don't like her art and you lost your sister to mental illness doesn't mean she should end herself. Maybe someone somewhere said the exact same thing about your sister. I think it's more that especially if you have an okay financial and family situation, you are pressured to be happy about it all the time, and if you're not you get written off as an ungrateful piece of shit. Believe it or not, people still don't like to deal with mental illness, they like to pretend that everything is okay and the depressed person is just sad and if they smile more surely that will fix it. It's less about moods and more about going to a trusted person and telling them about how you feel, and instead of them offering you help they just want you to smile more so you're not an inconvenience to them.
