I don't give advice often, because I don't consider myself skilled enough to be handing it out very much, but I try hard never to waste a line. Each line should be purposeful and intentional. I often redo them until they are.

On Autodesk, I have a custom tool set. One for sketching, one for line work, one transparent eraser, one hard eraser, one standard digital brush, one shading brush, and one blending brush.

When I sketch, I use thick lines, then narrow them down with the erasers. I just didn't do it because it was a quick project.

The rifle looks better than the character. You need to practice basic forms, then using said basic forms to simplify the human figure. Then you need to transform the basic forms into a biological figure.

Also, I'm pretty sure you were trying to draw an AK-47, but you missed a lot of the important details of the AK-47, including the fact that it's outdated garbage and nowhere nearly as reliable as everyone claims it is. The AK-12 is much more reliable and better sealed making it far more reliable as well as sporting a rail system.

Do any comics/cartoons have an influence on your guys' art styles?

I can't really pin down exactly what influenced my art style but, I would say growing up Ed Edd n' Eddy was a really big influence for me I always liked how expressive everything was and how fun and cartoony you could draw characters and be able to manipulate the body to express more emotion or a reaction to an action. When I don't draw cartoony I draw monsters or more realistic type stuff so I can't say what influenced my other "styles" I draw to fit whatever I want to express so I just take from what I learned from drawing growing up and apply it my own way. I'd also like to say that I watched cartoons around the 2000's so those are the kinds of cartoons I watched and I loved the idea of comics growing up but I never was into super heroes n shit which is all I thought comics were until like a few years ago say about 6 years ago idfk but I say comics like Scott Pilgrim, the sculptor, King city and also recently I hate fairyland. I also played a lot of cartoony games growing up and would buy the art books for like Capcom games or just look at Nintendo art or just anything that was just less grounded. I like my cArto0ns so I studied cartoons a lot as well as learned how to draw properly from books n' shit. So it's just a load of mish mash from all sorts of things i've seen growing up.
