It's quite simple, really. You where just not born with that spark so there is no point in helping you otherwise.

Ink slower and don't give all lines the same thickness. Plus you need to fucking finish the drawing before inking so you're absolutely following the lines that you wanted.

Two things are killing your ink, and one is killing your soul.

The first is line consistency. Like someone else pointed out your ink is all the same width. Make different materials have different widths. So hair thinner lined than skin for example.

You could also have closer objects thicker than further, or thin out the line as it approaches the light source.

But before you get super fancy I'd play with just one or two at a time - the light source one can be tricky.

Two: No overlap. When rendering a rough construction sometimes its easy to screw up with overlaps what. Those hair strands for the bangs are very odd because they don't overlap each other, in real life, crap is overlapping other crap constantly, even on the face - like your nose there. Make sure your final renderings also follow this rule.

Line width variety is also important but it seems you do have that. For example a skin outline will probably use longer lines than hair outlines, etc. Having line length variety helps differentiate objects.

Third: You're drawing childporn and that's extremely bad for your soul. This isn't a joke. You will learn faster/better the more stable your mind/heart is and lusting after children is not going to help that.

The best way to learn how to ink is to do it traditionally. Fineliners, nibs, brushes, whatever. Just do it with real shit.

Digital inking is the fucking worst.

Anyone have tremors? They're not bad, but I have no idea how to do clean lines when my hands are always tired and slightly shaky.

>> No.3029746

>>3029727
Speed. It depends on your medium too. If you're working traditional you have to find work arounds - being less accurate but using speed, or petting your lines in a way that doesnt' look like they are petted, going ultra slow. Using stippling. Or ultra slow drawing one tiny bit at a time like you would for doing a ballpen drawing.

If you're using digital, you can just quick stroke undo quickstroke undo quickstroke undo, it's frustrating but you'll get the line you want eventually.

Or zoom far out and do large lines with a really small stroke.

These are all just ideas, you may have to come up with your own unique solution.

People without hands could draw with their wrists, and others with their mouth.

Yeah this pretty much Anon. Try adding some line weight variation homie. Like make it darker where lines curve in. Find where the light source is, make the lines lighter there. It'll take practice but I believe in you anon; you can do it.

Speaking about linework. I'm fairly competent when drawing traditionally but on digital I can't do absolutely anything.

Some advice? I use Photoshop and an Ugee 19".

Depends where you live. USA drawings are all good so long as they aren't realistic and/or depicting assault, sex crimes, etc.

In Canada you pretty much can't draw shit. Even a 16 year old animu in a swimsuit will land you in prison. But you have the go ahead to draw dogs fucking kids, the Canadian government loves beasty porn
