What does this have anything to do with SJWs? If it wasn't for you being inspired by art or anime at a young age, /ic/ wouldn't be a thing.

You guys do realize this includes things like music, arts, animation, architecture, photography, design, film, writing and literature, DIY, ect. away from public schools.

Also, all things 4hcan LITERALLY has a board for.

No, not colleges where grown ass adults talk about their inner feelings through watercolor art. I mean teaching kids and inspiring a new generation of artists, not turning them into boring, work slave adults.

TLDR

>Let's make our future employe...*COUGH* i mean children less creative!

Miyazaki was right. Ya'll dun goof'd.

Most art schools are privatized. And Colleges/Universities are state funded.

How do you not know this?

The large federal budget cuts imposed are for public schools. Most public school funding is through federal funds, which is awarded to the states to fun the city districts.

This is going to be affecting kids in public schools from grades K-12th grade, nationwide. Not grown ass hipsters who pay for college with trust fund daddy money.

It's very strange seeing this on /ic/

>He unironically thinks the government of all things magically makes people more creative by throwing other people's money at them

Was that supposed to be a joke?

First of all, you're wrong about these funds going to public schools, second of all I repeat:

>"Oh no! This is surely the end of art as we know it!"

Because no one made art in the United States or elsewhere until the National Endowment of the Arts and Humanities was founded in 1965, especially not on the level of "Doggie Hamlet" (only made possible by NEA grant money, no other way this could have been created without that)

Let's cross reference.
Anon:

>Cock rides Trump meme train

>Doesn't realize he's taking a huge fucking chunk of money away from arts and humanities from schools in order to fund the war economy

Anon Trump Shill:

>Oh no! This is surely the end of art as we know it!

Where in that sentence was shill anon implying that it was the end of all art? There are many private organizations that donate to schools to increase the arts in public schools.

I believe anon is concerned about it affecting the future generation of children. With everything that's been happening, and his own voters backpedalling on him, I'm not surprised.

Shill anon, you need to add more sources and facts before you go off calling anyone a Jew. You're the biggest shill on here, especially since you admitted to that on "second of all I repeat:"

Redpill or GTFO, remember what thread you're on.

and that is good because?

with the art in school I only learned bad habits. I WISH i didn't had art in school

I learned more in one summer from a cousin to art than in 8 (EIGHT) years of doing ''art'' in school

the fact that the modern ''art'' loses it funds is a good thing

Let's be real here. You didn't even know who Betsy DeBuzzword was until like a week ago and wouldn't know why her being in that position is supposedly a bad thing if someone asked you without looking up whatever "damaging" sound bites you can dredge up no matter how irrelevant they might otherwise be.

Of course, the same people promoting the 1+1=potato logic common core standards and those who've collectively spent more money per pupil than almost any country in the entire world with absolutely shit results to show for it would be the authority on who our children should be educated by and how.

Reminder that a lot of top notch art schools are privately funded, nonprofit schools (take Art Center for an example). I don't want my tax dollars going to some smarmy period-blood on the walls type curriculum.

Though I find it kind of funny that someone posting a painting edit of a blond guy with a red tie got a political discussion going on an art-focused board, the defunding of these types of programs won't exactly discourage the youngins from pursuing a career in these fields. Art in itself is viewed as a niche and risky job to the normies, which leads to active discouragement by default. The artists that make it usually try their hardest to defy great odds of failure.

Translation: "I don't like things SJWs like, so I'm glad non-SJWS (Normies) won't be able to enjoy those things!"

Ok, who are you fronting, anon? Soundbites? You speak as if you're some sort of expert on political analytics. You speak as if no one on here actually does their homework. But to answer your question, it certainly shouldn't be someone who has never set foot in a school, nor has any experience within the workings of education institutions, and most certainly ones with children.

Ask any kid growing up in the city during Reaganomics if they enjoyed their childhood? Remember where you are, Anon. You speak as if we're potatos that just found this shit out. This isn't Tumblr, edgefag. Back to /pol/
