The same aspects for all art, good form and composition. If its a comic/manga, it needs a some what beleivable story that uses some tropes but has originality in character. Eroticism goes a long way, so knowing whats sexy and desired is important. It also depends what kind of porn you want to do and how niche it is.

Usually you first build an audience and then start taking commissions and regulating your prices based on the demand you get.
Speaking from personal experience, if you have decent art you might be able to start very quick. I got my first commissions by posting my stuff on Hentai Foundry. Can you show your art, please.

You have bigger problems than color theory I'm afraid. The forms are out of perspective in a lot of places (her mouth, the pelvis in combination with her upper body, the eyes, etc.). You could also use some anatomy and construction practice (the guy's arm and hand are pretty wonky, same goes for her upper torso and crotch area). Lastly you want to do gesture as the lineweight is pretty insecure and messy. I suggest you don't focus too much on finished pieces (although it's good to finish art since with that you build discipline too) and instead do some proper training. I'm afraid right now you are winging everything way too much.

The major problem is the lenght of her ribcage. You made it way too long. The second thing that I think it's a bit off putting is the distance between her eyes (tho take this with a grain of salt, since some people might have proportions similar to those you have here). The facial features are also a bit out of perspective. You tilted her head down a little, but I think you exaggerated the eyes placement and perspective. Check the redline to see what I mean.
Lastly I think it's better if you extend her arms a bit more and emphasize the triceps as she's putting the weight of her body on her arms.

It's a meme, you can use gradient maps but ultimately you'll never have as much control as when you paint straight in colors. You can block in shadows to get a sense of form in b/w but I would advice against doing a complete rendering in b/w. Your work looks really nice btw.

It depends by how prolific you are. If you can pull off a commission in just a few hours, then you can make a perfectly nice living off it.
For me it's a nobrainer as I live in a contry where the average income isn't very high.

Line art is not bad, but its weight doesn't change. Something necesary if you want it to look more like a drawing and less like a flash vector or one of those 16bit emulator ""HD"" filters. Even if you are tracing the line-art as a vector, whatever program you are using should have an option where you choose how the ends and edges look like, try messing around with those options.

The dudes measurements are probably right, but the woman is the same heads tall....which either means shes tall as shit or he's short. Most drawn women are depicted as 7 to 7.5 heads tall. Heroic women like Wonder Woman etc can be drawn at 8 to 8.5 heads tall, but never taller than their male counterparts like Superman. yea yea soggy knees whatever.

There's a clear difference between pillow shading and indicating a light coming from the direction of the viewer which is what this pic shows. You can even see the ground shadow showing it too. The shading isn't great at indicating the light direction in all spots. The top of the chicks butt i shaded when it shouldn't be, her back, her left cheek. I think BBC was trying to use slight tones to indicate form rather than shadow and i think if the effect was lessened in the right areas it might be better. It's not as though it looks bad as it is. I'm sure most people would like it alot already, but this was just in reference to the "pillow shading" crit.
