I can't even get designdoll to download, let alone install on windows 10. Guess I'll just have to continue drawing with references or using a mirror when I draw. boohoo.

It's not useless, it's just unwieldy and the poses you can get are still going to be pretty shit unless you're either really good with it or take a long time to set it up.

So it's nice for a basic reference, especially for stuff like foreshortening, but if you're in the habit of relying on / copying refs outright it'll be bad for you.

The biggest problem of this software is not configuring the perfect anatomy, but setting a pose that looks "natural". That is why I think Adobe Fuse CC can be much more useful (it also has MUCH more designing options), I can't download that shit on my PC because my Creative Cloud is disabled.

Be aware that the when other people say that poses that came up from this are shit, is because they invent and pose shit poses.

It being a 3d model won't make you pose it well, and you have to decide if learning how to pose it well and attractive is worth the effort.

If you just want help with foreshortening its great.

There's the logo of a magnifying glass with a + in it. Select a "bone" and use the arrows to adjust lenght and other shit.

Nevermind, I got it to work. The fucker in the reddit thread didn't even say the 3.9 file is in the folder. Everything is there. You don't need to download from the website at all. Although it doesn't seem to load saved files from 4.0.
