I got a STEM major and while I was doing that I used the work ethic gained from the insane workload and used it to get good enough at drawing to start taking commissions. I always was my worst critic, and it got worse when i created a Normiebook account.
I have around 300friends. Not that many good artist who know the reality, so 99.9% comments that i get are from normies that work all the time.

No more long brainless studies, no more human printing on no end thinking someday it will all click and magically make me good at imagination drawing. I had this thrown at me at some point by girl that used to go to highschool and uni with (both art, so 8 years of just art shit), shes like:

Her: But you can draw it in no time, and you do it so much better.


After that she slowly dropped communication with me, and that was the point where I realized people I considered friends were just bunch of literal cunts. Like, hold the fuck on bitch, you got same amount of education like I did, you had all the years to draw and improve and you still beg me to sketch out things that, at this point, you should be able to do it yourself?
