Not representantive, but much better than a single overpriced pen which will break soon.

There are other brush pens, but this one is good and cheap. Having separate hairs or a longer brush doesn't matter. If you need to fill an area, the normal brushes are much better.

Do you guys know a good guide for cleaning up traditional art post-scan for view online? Because mine just looks so washed out and fucking awful from the scanner.

what type of scanner, and what scanning software? my scanner has presets like illustration, photo, newpaper, etc. Basically, only use photo if there's tons of details. if you're doing a rather simple and dark inking, you can use illustration, and it'll usually ommit fine lines like pencil lines. nice for the lazy people, but not so great if you're using ballpoint for shading.

Day 2, getting paid today so hopefully sometime this week I can get a fresh sketchbook and ditch the line paper.

I know exactly what you mean. You have this crisp, perfect vision in your head, but your hands can't materialize it on paper at all. Or at least not as visually impressive as it was in your head. You know, it's funny that you say you're used to digital. I read up on Inktober before starting and it seems like a lot of people are so used to drawing digitally to the point where they weren't sure if they were allowed to participate. Digital ink counts! But traditional ink is great practice, anon. It teaches you to have more confidence in your strokes. Do it enough and you won't need to ctrl+z anything since all your strokes will be on point to begin with.
