Depends on the artis, artists who just sell their own finished work would have no problem with it because they are essentially just merchants of a finished product,
if however you go to get a job in a proper company and do a normal project in let's say video games or movies etc then it's no different than any other company,
just go and look at concept artists who work for major studios, they all look like they could just go and work at a bank any time.
