does any know what program Doxy uses to draw with?

Also what program do you guys use to draw/paint digitally

>> No.2589454

Doxy uses Sai

wow, sai can do all those tweaks he does. Even tilting selected parts

Really like his art.
Does he still make any marty comics or does he just posted in patreon?

yupyup, sai has that, just make sure to use the correct sampling mode when tilting selections or else the quality won't be optimal (bicubic sharper if you're tilting line work/want edges to be nice, bicubic smoother if you care more about the value quality)

I recorded one of his streams from a few days ago, he does lines really well and for whatever reason the stuff he was drawing was WAY better than his recent posts, like a totally different artists
I'll upload it if anyone wants, but I'm mobile now

As a SAI user, where do you make sure those settings are as such? I get the "jpeg'd" effect when I rotate/move selected parts and I'd have to use PS to clean them back up.

I'm more curious why /ic/ is always asking such dumb questions when you have the sticky and beginner threads there to help.

People can like Doxy's work. There are some positives that can be taken from his work and the work of other (better) artists. But wondering what program or brushes he uses isn't the important questions to be asking. Having the same tools aren't going to get you the same quality of results when you don't know what the fuck you're doing.

of course is a guy, there is no reason to think otherwise

yeah i agree with you. The brush thing is a meme in the normies, is full of useless brushes around the internet.

Some artist once said something along the lines of "people keep asking me what program I use and I'm like it's just lines. you can make good shit in ms paint"

a lot of his streams are either commissions or paid work that he's doing for larger projects.
it's often different to the art he posts normally.

does photoshop have all the settings and shit that SAI has to the extent of how much Doxy takes it.

Yes, but SAI's interface for it is a bit more intuitive.

Photoshop is geared more towards being a one-size-fits-all (drawing, photo editing, etc), where as I'd only ever use SAI for drawing.
