You mean as in a standing pose? Of cpurse, there are multiple ways to make a static pose look dynamic. Contraposso is just the most basic; it's literally shifting the opposite sides of weight to balance points. You can still balance a figure through other means.

I dont know if classical contraposto applies meaningfully to contemporary bobbleheaded lolis, but I guess its a good means of flexing art history knowledge.
