Why is it cropped again trying to hide the lower limbs. The hand is slightly out of proportion more specifically in the metacarpus and that is not how arms work either take into consideration on how the ulna and radius work with the humorous those two bones do not curve the way they're portrayed.

yes its important, but its not the most important part of art. In fact as long as it looks close enough (as these pictures do) its good enough for most purposes.
Naturally they should have it perfected, but anatomy is a very small portion of what makes a picture look good.
Perfect anatomy is far from necessary to a great picture.

It's behind both the foreleg and the wing. By stomach I'm assuming you mean the soft part of the belly, which would be incorrect assuming it's like most quadrupeds the bottom of the foot is chilling on the chest/rib cage.

And the leg is in front anyways, can you not perspective?

Yeah that and you can see how the shoe is bronze armor that matches the bronze patches all over the little critters body too. That much stomach with that hue wouldn't be possible/visible in that place. It just makes more sense for it to be the foot.

That color batch could be bronze, maybe leather, either way the curve of the color patch matches the arc of the toes.

Now if anyone wanted to point something out, should be the sword hand. Not the amount of fingers someone's dwelling over, but the circumference of the hilt, makes the hand look paper thin considering thumb positioning.
