Former lurker here. I just want to say that I like how mean everyone is. I'm 4.5 months deep into trying to go from zero to hero/pro and everyone on the internet is too nice.

I'm still garbage but people tell me they wish they could draw and paint too (pick up a fucking pen.) Nobody here looks at my garbage and wishes they were like mike.

Being incredibly skilled in art is really more important than being incredibly good in captivating your public?

She can really fascinate the mainstream public in a way that, eventhough there are far better artists out there, they hardly ever can reach such a vast public.

tl;dr Maybe she doesn't deserve it as an artist, but as an entertainer and businesswoman, she really does.

Eh, some people here like to shit on Sakimi chan no matter what, but I just dislike what she's become since around the time she started her patreon. She's always been boring in terms of subject matter, but a few years ago she at least experimented when it came to her painting methods instead of using the same tired aproach (lots of gloss, rimlight, oversaturated colors, standard compositions and postergirl poses) for everything.
