I need your help /ic/. I'm what you'd think of as a rebel artist. My style is a mix of street art and anti corporate Impressionism.

I'm planning on starting a new series of works where I go to art galleries and start tagging/painting over existing pieces. It's sort of a "fuck you" to the corporate cronyism of the modern art cartel and also my way of saying that I'm "rewriting" the direction of modern art.

So what do you guys think is the best way to go about this? Any tips?

>> No.2202995

Post your work and then someone who's not even qualified to take community college figure drawing courses will tell you its shit and to go back to loomis. Then we can go from there.

Isn't this along the lines of what isis did a few months ago just without saying it's art

I totally aprove this, and I say that you should start at expositions about Pollock, Warhol and Picasso. Anything you do over those turd-tier shit "paintings" will be an improvement tbh

Anti-corporate impressionism? What the actual fuck?

Oh I get it. It's a joke by an anti-graffiti troll pretending to be an edgy faggot.

The irony of trying to go "anti-establishment" on pieces of art that were intended to be exactly that.

Warhol literally painted brand name products. How much more "establishment" can you get? Dude was a first rate shill

Are you joking, right m8? "anti-establishment" a scheme to make money laundering? LOOOL
While real artists were treated as shit living in poverty, retarded talentless autists like Pollock and Warhol got praised by the establishment in mass media. I'll gladly burn any Picasso crap if I had the chance to do it. Less shit in the world is always a good thing.

I'm mainly worried about security so I know I'll have to work fast. I think I'll have to work in marker or spray paint to minimize my time there.

Doing art with the artworks of other artists?
It has already been done to death, Anon.

So if you don't have a time travelling machine, I would advise you to find something more avant-garde.

Not in the way that I intend to do it. My style involves a lot of unusual, ethereal linework although I play around with 3d installation stuff, specifically the repurposement of the female vagina to combat centuries of phallic representation in art.
