I've been watching you draw for a while now and I gotta say I dig the subject matter, but can't stand SOME of the execution. Like when you draw big tits, they're always too round and when they're peaking out, like in your pic, they're too squished and too close together like they're one giant boob. when you draw fat asses, they sometimes suffer the same the same mistakes as your breasts, but more often than not they look ok. It's clear you've put more practice into asses than anything else. But c'mon man, no girls ass is as malleable as a pillow or a bag of sand. Those hands look like they're literally about to pull a chunk of her ass off. And thats not sexy. And speaking of not sexy, your faces can sometimes be off putting. Sometimes it works, like when you drew Azula, but a lot of times it doesn't and it leaves your women looking very manic. Your bodies themselves need work too, for all the curves and voluptuousness going on, I don't see many folds of the midsection in your work. All that "boob and butt" posing and there's no emphasis on the body twisting.

Seeing that we post our own work on this board, the identity (or at least some defining psedunym) is often known, either through recognition or reverse image search. Adding a signature would let random people, who are not frequent in these threads, see and enjoy your art without having to ask for sauce, increasing your audience with minimum effort.

I understand what you are saying, but each time I have an "excuse" is not because I want to deceive people into thinking that I am better than what my art shows. It's just that I genuinely think what I say. Right now I am at a pinnacle where I want to grow in terms of style, that's why a lot of my stuff is intentionally experimental (especially my sketches) and of all things I am most of all trying to get out of my comfort zone. And a lot of times this causes flaws. That's why I have such "excuses". I started posting here because I want to hear what people think of my stuff. On tumblr and HF I don't get any kind of negative criticism.

All this said, at the end of the day I know all the crits I receive are a good thing and I try to take into consideration all of them, as much as possible.

As for Pixiv... I find that in practice, Pixiv tends not to give much of a shit about uncensored stuff. Censorship is the official policy, but it doesn't really get enforced a ton; the law relies mostly on chilling effects.

Either way, it's not illegal if you're not actually in Japan. The blame would fall on Pixiv for hosting it, but their blase attitude suggests they aren't really worried.

Because the east and west have different values, and allow different things. Lots of Japanese artists get their start as doujinka, sometimes doing h-doujin parodies, but in the west a connection like that could ruin your career if it gets out. So there's probably not as much demand here.

Stuff like loli especially, and to a lesser extent cartoon porn in general, is not really as accepted in the west. Pixiv is less censored in that regard.

Plus, the preferred reaction in the west is to kick up a stink about things you personally dislike, while in Japan you'd generally look away to preserve the "wa."

Good points so I put some effort into realizing them. I had been trying to hide the arm behind the body to better show off the silhouette of her chest but I should be able to get the same effect if I place my values correctly. Slimmed up the hips ever so slightly but I want her to be kind of dumpy I find it attractive in a roundabout way.
