Not if you're experienced with typography. I can read pretty much any tag you present me. That's a skill that you obviously haven't developed yet, so I don't see how your opinion matters in any of this.

I never claimed that graffiti is a higher form of art than anything else. I love many kinds of art. It really says a lot about you that you can't appreciate multiple artforms at once without throwing a hissy fit.

Maybe once YOU cut the umbilical chord and start forming your own opinions, you can expand your horizons a little bit and become a true artist. With a more versatile skill set you might even get a job someday!

But don't worry, I'm sure tagging is a wonderful skill that can get you plenty of jobs anon! Why learn how to properly draw or paint, or even use 3D software like Zbrush when you can slap together a tag on traincars.

Think further, there is something called typography. Free-hand drawing of typography is very much a skill. It's a skill that requires perfection, moreso than anatomically correct figure drawing. If you practice that, you get a better understanding of letters and how to interpret them. Same thing with graffiti.
