I wanna learn human anatomy, but most books just come with shitty drawings and I get them, but I would love to see the real deal to understand and learn human anatomy.

Are there such art educational gore?

>hampton, vilppu, bridgman have "shitty drawings"

You are retarded.

Life drawing classes.

Life drawing classes don't cut a person in pieces m8.

Wtf? How would that help your anatomy in any way?
Are you trying to draw guro or some shit? If so, get away from this Christain board and be an hero for 400 virgins

I just want to see the real deal.

you know, like those old masters who did autopsies on real bodies.

Hampton, Vilppu, Brigman are great but if those aren't your cup of tea then Anatomy for sculptors, Eliot Goldfinger's books and Scott Eaton's anatomy for artists

I'm not saying they're bad.

I just want to see real photos of muscles and shit.

>you know, like those old masters who did autopsies on real bodies.

Those old masters did those autopsies for scientific not artistic purposes m8. The knowledge is all there for you in the books, seeing someone cut up wont help.

If you're serious though university courses in anatomy involve inspecting dead body bits.

he has a point, medicine students study dead bodies and have to cut corpses to study anatomy.

I wonder how easy would be to attend one of those classes as an artist.

I'm sure there are some youtube medical autopsy class.

I just browsed trough that video and there was basically nothing useful there for artists. They mostly just showed the insides of guts and not which muscles are where where they connect and what they look on the surface. Well if you want to draw gore then that video would be really useful.

Whats more amusing is that you think something like that would actually help your work aside from drawing gore as >>2143673 said.

>>2143663
That image isn't entirely correct, as they're a combination of muscles and ribs. It also depends on the muscle mass of the person in question.

you sound like those animu fags.

If the drawing is done by Hampton, then yes. Photos can be easily distorted by what lens is used. The better option overall would be to study from life.

>you sound like those animu fags.

Saying that books dedicated to anatomy for artistic purposes are a better source of information than medical dissection videos has nothing to do with anime. The fact you even brought it up only shows how narrow minded you are, grasping for straws.

You sound like one of those fags who compensates for his mediocre artistic ability by pretending its a bit more special since he watched a few cut up body parts on youtube.

Stay delusional anon.

yeah, but that's a video.
the fact a drawing can't replicate the third dimention is something that make it inferior.

It doesn't matter if it's drawn by God himself, it's still a drawing.

The point is that a video is the easiest and cheapest resource to see a real muscle.

Of course you can keep with your anatomy drawings and be good, but some people just want to go the next level and watching some anatomy tutorial for medical students is pretty great resource.

The question is why not to watch it?

>you suck
I'm sure that's a nice opinion.
I will make sure to download a Durer drawing and post it here to showcase my artistic ability.

I found it's pretty funny to see you fags claiming to learn mostly from real life and yet you're telling me a drawing is good enough.

top kek.

I guess an arrow in the image would be better than a large ass circle but its actually just pointing out where the muscles are.

Yes, drawing from life is the best as in you are actually there not a photo not a video,
drawings and pictures like >>2143663 and >>2143666 are the second best option, after that videos and photos of real life

Of course, but unless you have low IQ, you can still learn from medical and artistic book.

They complement each other.
