I think you went into detail a little too early with this. Maybe try starting out with a rather rough, big brush instead of a really small, soft one and lay down the general colors and shapes first, then concentrate on the details.
Right now the image looks very blurry and the reflection in the river is a little too strong. Make it fade further down.
The sky's nicely done, though and I like the color palette on the tree, though it may not work that well when you look at the values.

I wouldn't say psychotic but they are a bit unsettling (in comparison). In the original he has this smouldering intelligent look that I don't think carried over. The biggest differences are in his eyebrows and where his eyes are focusing.
It's actually quite good. Another thing is that you can describe the structure of his face better by making your hatching follow the forms.

I feel as though my proportions would be 1 duodecillion times better if I didn't have a bad habit of drawing at an angle. Drawing straight up really feels uncomfortable. But doing it sideways is definitely the reason why It looks lopsided.

Try to put more thought into line weight. Maybe actually look at some John K (since I'm assuming he's the primary influence here, you could use any artist with a flowy look like this) and try to track the shapes of his lines depending on fluidity vs rigidity, moving vs still, close vs far, and round vs sharp.

50 hand challenge should force you to draw a shitload of hands every day.

I saw such a quick improvement when I drew about 8 A4 pages a day of hand studies for a month.

From life, photographs, anime, EVERYWHERE. Anywhere I saw a hand I would draw it.

Try it and I promise you will be better than when you started. In fact, promise yourself that you'll draw 50 A4 pages of hands before August with 2 - 4 studies per page.

On top of the other recommendation, I highly recommend doing studies from this book:

Really pay attention to how he uses line to convey interaction of form. look at which lines end into others to indicate form wrapping behind, and which end on a curve or small bend or into a small line to indicate the form interlocking in front of another.

I swear all of his instructional drawings use variations on the same 5-10 bent lines which are all derived from interacting cubes.

hi! Rose looks a bit off because her pose is off balance. bring the shoulder in front down and move the other shoulder higher. Also you could extend her right arm out to make a better silhouette. Push her hips back and her chest out. She is hunched over and usually a person would lean more forward on a skate board. Right now it looks like the skate board might just push off under her.
Another thing is that the skate board doesn't look to be on the same plane as the one you drew? The back of the skate board is lifted a bit too far up.
As for pearl, I think you did a great job! I love pearl's expression.

the muscles are lumpy and vague, always remember that anatomical diagrams are your friend (most of which will be male, if not all, but muscles look the same on everyone, so just draw bigger hips)
other things: -tits sit on top of the pecs, and there isn't cleavage unless they're pushed together

Awesome

Russian Mechanized Infantry battalion pushing through a snowy field to a city. A command walker directs troop movement and scouts the terrain ahead. Walker is a T80/Shilka/Gekko bastard child.

Actual image is much bigger, but I'm a poorfag with no scanner, apologies.

Went from a test with perspective to a whole theatre, but still very much a primitive sketch. I'm gonna fix the ridgeline near the top so it fits with the vehicle positioning.
