Went painting with a group today from Hues art. 6 people scattered across a hillside going ham with oils, watercolour and acrylics. I'm sun burnt, tired and feeling amazing. Only made it back 30seconds before the skies opened up on me.

I drew outside, and it's much more productive to just study indoors. That's why even the old masters were massive shut-ins in their ateliers. And michelangelo didn't have the internet for infinite reference.

If you wanna waste time outside, being social and having fun, go for it, but don't kid yourself that it's more artistically fulfilling or productive in any way
