Throwing the words 'traditional rendering' together can mean anything. It can mean draw it in non-digital media, it can mean do it digital but do it all on one layer, something to do with brush strokes, color, any fucking thing, 'rendering' has come to have a lot of different interpretations.

This study ref is not well chosen in my opinion. The lighting is quite diffuse and gives little interplay between form and shadow. I strung together some refs I think are valuable as studies, in case anyone cares for that sort of thing.

the long lines contours
women usually have pretty undefined faces, but this makes it more interesting I think.
