That's what happens when you work on something for such a long time, you start with this nice loose sketch that looks amazing then when you start fixing the anatomy and what not it becomes a bit stiff.

You can see it in a lot of digital artist's work.

He's good at drawing and those figures are hardly stiff. You are trying very hard to find ONE thing you believe you are better at than this guy, but you aren't. You can do as many shitty gesture scribbles as you want, but Yang Qi is infinitely better at drawing the human figure from imagination than you are.
