So I watched Tim's Vermeer last night and i guess it has already been a topic here but here goes anyway.

I want to try this technique (if one can call it that) and wonder if there are others out there who have tried it out or know anything about it.

All opinions are welcomed.

Try to relax and lube up your asshole and finger, make sure you are "empty". Just press your finger at your asshole, til you get comfortable with that feel, then you can push it in. You can actually feel the prostate when you are aroused, try to find it at the inner wall. Gentle pressing and moving works best. Hope i could help, although i think i watched something from a different Tim Vermeer, but since you said all opinions are welcomed...

I have tried the camera lucida (though I was more interested in building the thing than using it). It does work to some extent, I did a drawing though, not painting. About half way through it I just threw it away and went to lie in bed and stare at the ceiling. It is tedious and boring. I see no reason anyone would want to do it, except to make a documentary. I would describe the experience same as using vellum paper and tracing over something. You have zero input of your own. I am all for realism, but in realism you still subjectively interpret the scene and make choices.
