I liked the old models a little bit better too to be quite candid but for consistency's sake with the new princesses I just swapped all of them out. I did not draw any of the princesses myself, I believe the original was made quite some time ago in fact. All I drew was sir Dubsman and made a few minor alterations.

Her tail is literally not attached to her body, I don't know what legs look like, one nipple is higher than the other and I don't think I'm going to be able to draw that arm correctly when all's said and done. I'm using these an excuse to draw strictly from imagination though so I think I've got to try even if I'm going to look stupid in the end.

I'm trying to work on a different aspect each time and for this one my main focus was to get the pose and proportion right first (I think I somehow managed to do that) and to feel the shapes with the coloring in second (that ... didn't went as expected). I've heard it recommended that you step away from a drawing for at least 15 minutes before you finish it so you can see it with fresh eyes; I think I'm going to start doing that.

They are a bit on the large side but the breasts don't seem connected to her.

The hips on the other hand don't match the rest of her body which is standing straight up, they have a bit of a lean to them. And because her legs and back are straight it looks a little strange.

Although I would advise you to take this with a grain of salt as I lack any formal training in anatomy.

Looking at it now, the pose does like really sloppy. I'd tried to give her a sort of lean, like she's shifting her weight to one side, but in the end it just looks disjointed. I'll redraw her and try to make it look natural, and in the future think twice before rolling with the first pose I can sketch.

Thanks. If you do have trouble with that sort of thing I highly recommend watching this ( http://youtu.be/wgDNDOKnArk ) and following along a bit.

Even to get to my rudimentary level I've had to fill out tons and tons of pages of just circles and lines, but now I'm able to do either fairly well consistently on cue with any media which is a big help just for drawing in general. Of course, because I don't have a "plan" or process when I start working I end up having to erase lines or fills and I ruin my lineart anyway messing around with stuff. Sheeit.

Well drawn but tbh it doesn't bring slime princess to mind, looks more like a girl sitting in a puddle, try to incorporate some translucence to her skin, and for example, where her hand touches her leg and where her knees are folded, rather than having a definite line separating the two pieces, make it so that it appears to be merging, and where her body touches the ground some compression and flattening needs to be done so that she doesn't appear so solid.
