How old are you guys?

Over the past couple months, a recurring dream turned into a full-blown script for a 200 page pornographic webcomic. I'm trying to git gud but by my own estimation I'll be at least 23 before I'm ready to start drawing it. I'm 18. If I'm not as much of a pervert then as I am now I fear the whole thing will be ruined.

If there's anything I need to do to make sure that doesn't happen - fap more, fap less, abstain from pornography, the opposite, I'll do it. Any input at all is greatly appreciated.

Not always, drawing "every little detail" can work perfectly fine when done well with a skilled hand.

A relativity disclaimer shouldn't be needed when talking about art. Of course you can draw every scale on a snake. You can draw every scale on a snake, and all the grass too. In most case scenarios you probably don't want to do that though, and particularly if you're a beginner and you're doing that you're likely doing it out of ignorance more than anything. There's a couple of issues why the snake example is a good beginner test. First that using line to describe scales won't give you anything realistic because as it's the case with most things line you're just visually describing the limits of an object you recognize psychologically, in this case a scale. It's the same case as people who draw every tooth in a smile.
There's also an argument for accentuating contrast. You can underplay parts where in reality you still notice scales yet they aren't as clear as in other parts of the snake. You can purposefully diminish detail as a compositional tool. Though that's mostly an argument against hyper-realism, which doesn't really concern a beginner that much.

It's been a problem for a long time, photoshop won't show up as a source by itself, you'll have to set the entire monitor as a source to show anything in PS.

Adobe doesn't give a shit about your ability to stream art in the program, so it most likely will never be fixed. If you don't like people looking at you desktop, you'll have to switch sources to something else.

That or work in a different program, I've only ever had the streaming problem with PS.

Yeah, but he also covered the basics of construction. Using simple shapes to build form. You need to study that before you start trying to make the lewds m8. Read and study "Fun with a Pencil" and branch off from there. There is literally nothing appealing about your image because there are so many errors. The poor line quality only hurts it more.

Yeah but odds are you didn't actually bother to practice and study the principle to understand it fully. Reading isn't enough. You have to keep doing and actively practice.

Also, use reference and try replicating the reference, aka do studies. Grind them out hard before you even start trying to draw from imagination.

On what I was saying about the armpit, I think that maybe the line on the back is coming on too strong so that's what making it look a bit off there. I think it helps if you emphasize the front side of the armpit like this and underplay the backside.
