I do feel a bit forced into it, I wasn't making any money really off my clean work. I'm thinking that might change this year, because I've been trying to get into mainstream comics for a while and I think this recent project I was hired to do might be a breakthrough for me. But once I started doing it, I actually found a lot of freedom in it. Right now I've been drawing a lot of stuff that doesn't really interest me to try and get commissions, I just need to transition to more of what I actually want to draw and I think it'll be pretty fulfilling. Maybe more, considering how hard it is to break into one of the top comics companies.
tldr try to make it fun for yourself, otherwise go for broke with your sfw art. I think it's harder to catch on or get hired if you do that but I think it has a better payoff too.

If you have access to figure drawing classes you might want to consider trying those out to learn about form, function, weight and such things. Don't try to draw pretty faces from reference, because it won't help you one bit in the long run.
If you can't take figure drawing classes then study anatomy.

Guys I'm a little confused about FA. Supposedly it's a good place to advertise furry porn, right? But when I uploaded a picture and marked it mature, it went invisible once it was off the main landing page. It wasn't even showing up in my gallery or profile page, and searching for it with the keywords I put in didn't bring it up either. What's more, the search page has two option boxes for mature and explicit as well as general, but you can't choose either of those boxes when you search for something. After I noticed this, I went back and browsed the art and saw that everything was marked for general audience and in fact nothing was explicitly sexual. So is FA actually a place for furry porn? Not new to art, but probably suck anyways. I find it difficult to find good critique and especially red-line critique elsewhere. Lay it on me, be as harsh as direct as you need to be and red-lines are especially appreciated. What's the damage?

Look for everyone else's critiques too. Mainly the breasts needed some gravity added, just move the nips accordingly. Her right hip shouldn't be showing as much ass as you have drawn, so I truncated that a little. The hand needs a lot of structure applied to it, the palm part is a box and the fingers are boxes coming out of that; the lines across the knuckles on each finger should be parallel (hard to explain, look at Hogarth hands). Face needs work, the head shape around the cheek and chin is really weird; re-do the lips, eye and nose are fine. Define the hair with a definite shape that contains the curls instead of having the lines disappear. Belly button is weird, look at reference because I can't really explain what it should look like. Bottom abs don't turn in so fast, they should look more like they run toward the genitals (if that makes sense). Oh, and your neck lacked structure, I would use something closer to a straight line for the neck contours. I think that's it.

If you take influence from another artist and don't have a beautiful, unique, and universally appealing style right out the gate, you're a copycat and always will be. Ribcage is enormous, in this perspective it should be smaller, compare to hips which shouldbe wider than chest. Breast are too much apart, becouse of the size of the ribcage, look awkward.

Head craniums is too small. try to lower the eyes, smaller nose, with lower base=cute and girly, but try to not overdo it.

Chest is too big, she has no waist. In this pose. pectoralis muscles should also be much more visible. Head has almos no symmetry, and looks like the hair line is to high.

Fight with your chicken scratch, draw long continous line, even if they are not 100% accurate, it looks much better than many of tiny lines. Just like you draw the "ears" on her head, long, single continous line, precision will came with time. Spend more time developing your forms, sketch your figures as if they were made of glass, draw wrapping lines all around the form using your shoulder.

Not saying they are bad, just hoping this was the intention. For this style eyes they're 2x the size of reality and the perspective diference is likely to be more noticeable. I've drawn eyes the same size in perspectives like this and they look weird. But anything I draw looks wierd to me.
