To answer this, yes, it did pretty much get banned. They sent out this message to everyone about it, and told them to re-read the rules for details. They sorta skirted around actually saying it but it was there. I just posted on there today and it still has a category checkbox on the submission form, though, so I don't know what the full status is. I'm not into that myself so I didn't look much into it.

Some sketches with glaring anatomical mistakes and shit but I'm pretty happy with them.

I just use a hard round brush in PS, I use a large canvas and a fat brush. I make stokes and then chisel away at them with the eraser.

Both opacity and flow are pressure sensitive.

Thanks for the feedback. I usually have problems with torsos but I've been getting better through practice. I'll color Vijounne soon, but I'll keep it simple because previous attempts at coloring have kind of gone overboard. I'll work my way up from simple colors once I've got a firm grasp on values.

You should take a picture of your favourite artist and study it, just going around with color picker.

For example one of my favorites is Ishikei. I took his picture to photoshop and take out colors with color pickers. As you can see he almost never uses blacks for his shading, operating almost exclusively on saturation. Of course thats not the only way to do this but you can take a note that isn't always shade=black.

When shading realisticaly, try to blend the colours into a midtone, but keeping the form of the object. You can try cell shading it too, but not like you did, with 3 skin tones and no realistic masses to make the shades good. Example, the boobs have to have darker shadows under them then the normal dark shadow of the right side of the body.

Sycra have a series explaining how light works.

Do this have some potential?

Any advice will be welcomed (I know I fucked it up with the paper it was a sketch of the moment)

I think it would fare better with more inclusive shading and some higher contrasts.
Like in previous posts, better saturation would help; when you're working on skin, it's better not to use a lot of black from what I'm finding out.
To pinpoint your values, it would be good to take the colour picture you have (in colour) and convert it to black and white just to see if the values are contrasting enough.

I did this little paint over thingie of the first girl to show what I mean, and while it's not perfect, it sort-of gets the point across I think.

There are also images directly uploaded to the net, it doesn't make any signifficant diffrence. Colors and value are little off, but you can see that Ishikei uses saturation for shade, and blacks for occlusion shadows

Ishikei's artwork online is mostly scans and a lot of them are oversaturated to hell. That particular picture is a scan. What's the point of color picking something with offset hue, shitty black levels and oversaturation if your goal is to learn how to choose good colors?

I hope nobody actually tries to apply colors picked from someone else's work to their own drawings, unless they copy the entire palette and know what they are doing. (You should still learn to copy colors by eyeballing though)

You really don't need that many colors in your palette. Pick a base color and 2-3 darker shades plus one for highlights and maybe white for specular if you want shiny skin. Also desaturate your colors.

That's how it works. Click edit on any artwork and it will take you back to the submission screen. Just change it from gallery to scraps, don't touch anything else and hit save.

paypal is the standard. You can ask people if they're willing to pay with other methods, but most people who will contact you for work will assume you use paypal unless you state otherwise.

I doubt that.

I'd wager most get their accounts closed because they publicly disclose their paypal email on their commission pages or use the same username so it's not hard to figure out what they are selling (come to think of it, I should probably stop doing that). Plus someone might just report you.

As for alternatives, a lot of people have a Google account so they might be okay with using Google Wallet. I've never used it myself though, so I can't vouch for it.

Is there any way to accept paypal commissions without the client seeing my real name?

I have a legit art career branded under my own name, and I want to keep that as separate as possible from any nsfw stuff I do on the side.

I've heard you can set up a business account on paypal and have only the business name appear on payment, but that involves a bunch of extra fees that just aren't worth it for $15-30 drawings.

Anyone else dealt with this before?

I don't know if you can exactly make an account with a fake name because they really try to check all that stuff and it might be suspicious if the name on the account doesn't match the name on the bank account it's attached to, and there's definitely no way you can make a fake bank account, so...

Disclaimer: I can only speak for Europe, I've heard there are some differences for Paypal in America. But I don't see why it wouldn't work just the same, especially since I've heard about this method on American forums.

The only fees you need to pay are from transactions if your commissioner transfers money with the payment option, rather than the gift option (in which case the commissioner pays the fee). This works just the same for personal accounts. Setting up a business account doesn't involve any extra fees by itself.

Easiest way is just to upgrade your personal account because you likely already have a bank card linked. If you don't want to do that you will need a second bank account (assuming you want to withdraw your funds). This doesn't necessarily need to be a business bank account, a personal one will do.

When you create your Paypal business account, register it under the same name as your bank account and link them. After you've confirmed your bank account you can just change your business name from your real name to whatever you want. Withdrawing your funds will work just fine.

While this may sound a bit convoluted, I guarantee it works and it's worth doing if you want to keep your identity secret.

I think I procrastinate a lot because every time I try to make something to wow people. Something amazing. But that is too overwhelming. This is just porn but I take it too seriously.

Nope. Not at all. You made VP waaaaaay to close, so now you have distorted erspective. Read "Perspective made easy", it really is easy.

But I can see one good think. You actually drew head in a way that you dont see the top, wich is correct, becouse its over horizon line. And then you can see top planes of everything beneath the horizon line. Thats good actually.
You should also exercise basic form if you wanna go with perpsective. When you can freehand box, balls, etc. You dant even have to draw perspective lines. They are mostly usefule for enviromentals and architecture, maybe some tricky poses.
