Hello /ic/,

I have been teaching myself Adobe Illustrator by tracing some things as well as adding onto; I took a break for a couple weeks and I would like to ease back into it by tracing something.

Pic related captivated me, and I would like to trace this, but the subject is not 100% within the frame, and this is where I have a hard time as I would like to trace 100% of the figure.

Should I try sketching what is out of frame first or wing it in Illustrator?
