I was going to draw one of those sand harem creatures from sands of time, but I didn't think it through during the sketch phase so I didn't finish it.

I'm in dire need of some smackaroos right now, so hope to lrn2draw heads/hands/feet , since I've completely neglected that, and get a porn tumblr started as soon as possible.

Tried to fix most of the things people criticized in the alternative style thread. At least it's waaay better than the original, I hope so.

id use a different name for the porn stuff and not link a lot of it to your commercial art portfolio just to be safe. the people hiring artists tend to be business people who are less open minded about that stuff. They lack open mindedness and creativity so they seek other people who have those features, but because they lack them they dont understand as well.
In my experience at least. I guess it depends on where you want a non porn art career to go? most art jobs seem to be in commercial shit and storyboarding. can you draw simple figures quickly and coherently consecutively? storyboarding is a pretty good place to turn then, since your anatomy seems to be pretty good.
If you want to get into comic work it wouldnt hurt to throw some clothing on the figures before you submit stuff to a publisher for consideration as a color/line worker.
basically in any case plan to have people not understand your porn art. Especially if the fetishes displayed are questionable.

Maybe. I think the consensus is that there's people who care and people who don't care. Like I personally don't think there's a reason to give a fuck, and some people on the hiring end will agree, but then again others won't.

You just post your stuff on every place that would take it. That mostly means tumblr and hentai foundry. There's mostly just two factors to doing good in this:
1. how good you are
2. how much stuff you're putting out.

You probably want to be great and work a lot if you want to be successful at this. Though I've seen people doing subpar work and doing fine too just by putting out a lot. The big point is just trying to keep presence and be relevant. If you try and fail then it most likely mean you're still not good enough at art.

one of Sally Mann's photographs was removed from a UK gallery after a visitor to the exhibition complained about how it was cp, and stirred up enough outrage from unrelated people. She is a very celebrated, feminist photographer and it was a very normal government-run gallery. I'm just shy of 300 followers on FA, 600 on tumblr, and nobody is interested in commissions.
I put a pay-what-you-like comic up but most people out of curiosity, and whilst I expected everyone would take the $1 route, with paypal taking 30 cents for each transaction it's not adding up to much more than $15 for two days of work.
