I think this shows that there is a potentially huge and needy userbase that really need professionally or at least semi-professionally developed hentai/sex games that involve fantasy/cartoon/manga/furry etc elements. There's a lot of money to be made if you can make quality sex games. Westerners don't really have any market like the Japanese ero-game market, but I think it could be a huge thing if it was put into the hands of people who can actually make quality work.

A lot of these XXX artists using Patreon are going to get a big shock after Paypal shutdowns all their accounts. I think Patreon are being very naive here, Paypal doesn't take this kind of stuff lightly. I don't understand why more artists don't just accept Bitcoin then cash it out into their bank accounts.

Patreon says in their FAQ that you can't use PayPal if you flag your account as NSFW. No idea if they enforce that. Patreon does offer Stripe as alternative in the US, and Payoneer as alternative Internationally.

I started a Patreon a few months ago and I'm getting <$1 dollar a month after fees. That just means I have to work harder.

Payoneer is not really for taking commissions. You can use it to cash out from paypal though. The card is like a regular mastercard, it works everywhere where mastercard works, and you can get cash your money anywhere in the world with it. It's very useful if you're not in the US and you're looking for a way to cash out your paypal money, but in the US I think you have the option of just getting a debit card from paypal themselves.
