It doesn't matter how much time you draw if you don't do it the right way.
Study and practice with the propper materials to learn the skills.

I threw my old sketch book away, but if it taught me anything, it's that you can improve alot in a year, given you were trying your hardest. I couldn't draw faces for anything man.

How many of these were from the final year of school?
I plan to go to return to formal education this year to do a level 3 art course in college (school is level 2 and uni is level 4+), and if this standard was enough to progress from school to college, I am loving my odds of being accepted.

I am 24 now so starting from an earlier point like level 2 isn't necessary.

Back then I only did studies because I was a stupid little shit.

Did this at 15, for a contest of pencil self portrait. I didn't win and they also lost it somehow. Fortunately I took a high quality photocopy before submitting it. It's a good memory of naive youth, at least
