I've a character i wanna draw that should not have bigger boobs than what i had planned for her.
I've read up upon cups and stuff but i cant figure out how to translate that into my drawing. I also tried to google references for breast sizes.
Is my best chance to ask around my friends what sizes they are to have a good visual understanding of cups?

Are you fucking autistic, OP?

Just search through models, find a particular model that has the size, and just go from there opposed to searching via breast sizes.

Hey OP you need to start thinking of this differently.

The actual SIZE of the breasts is determined by band size(the number) COMBINED with the letter(s). So cup size is far less important than the combined size. A 26DD is going to be SMALLER in volume than a 36B!

The letter is determined by the bust size (measured at the nipple across, or sometimes with the woman bent over depending on breast shape) minus the band size (the measurement of the ribcage under the breasts themselves).

Have you tried a body gallery?

That is completely incorrect. Might apply for asian girls, but the average size is about b. C is already pretty big. The D on this picture looks like a European (probably also american) B.

>>1800342
Boobs in your picture are probably B-C as well. Is this the size you imagined?

i disagree. if you're a girl i concede. but from the few girlfriends i've had, those look more or less right.

I am. I assume they wore much too big bras then. Mine are the size of something between D and F on that pic, yet I always (comfortably) wear B.
Everything up to C looks like tranny/prepubescent bodies. They also actually look asian, so that's probably the reason.

Could be, but they're stupid then. I've never seen such small breasts though and the last ones aren't even that big, they're pretty normal. The first three definitely wouldn't need any bra as most men even have bigger boobs.

Yes completely true. Bra sizes are also kind of confusing and lots of women just try different sizes until they find one that 'feels' right but probably isn't. But you're supposed to get measured

A lot of people misunderstand what cup size actually means (even a lot of adult women are mis-informed).

Cup size means nothing without the band size. Two D-cups can be completely different. Not all D-cups are large. A 34B is the SAME size volume-wise as a 32C.

This is because cup size is relative to the band size.

In simplest terms, for an A cup, the breast measurement would be about 1 inch wider than her ribcage measurement, a B cup would be two inches wider, etc.

Here's a great article called "Bra Sizes do not Exist without Back Sizes":

http://fullerfigurefullerbust.com/tag/what-does-a-d-cup-look-like/

If you understand what actually makes breasts measure at a certain size, that should help you apply it to your art work. Asking your friends what size they are will actually add to the confusion (I know, I wish it was that easy). Draw the ribcage of your character first, then place the breasts on top of them while thinking (3 dimensionally) about how much wider that measurement would be than the measurement of the ribcage. Hope this helps!
